      I know what you mean - J.Crew's sizing is always hit or miss for me. I actually had to get alterations done on this one! I ordered a Petite 00, but it was sadly still too long for 5'2'' me and hit at an awkward length (so I had it shortened). If you really like something you see there, I'd recommend trying the alterations route. I especially love the quality of their winter wool skirts (though not so much of their summer skirts - too wrinkle-prone).
