For this outfit, I'm wearing only 3 main colors: red, white, and black. I've kept my accessories fairly simple with a wide, silver bangle and silver clutch. In particular, I love the asymmetrical zipper of this red jacket. I wore this outfit during a casual weekend shopping date. While shopping lately, I've been on the hunt for a classic trench coat, nude patent pumps, and the perfect red bag. What's on your shopping list?

It's finally Friday! I'll be on a plane to London today, as I'll be spending 5 days there for a work conference. In addition to preparing for my conference presentation, I've been working on my itinerary for sightseeing, food, and shopping. Since this will be my first time in the UK, I'm hoping to visit a lot of the famous sites. Thus far, I'm most excited about visiting the Tower of London (home of the crown jewels and site of many beheadings), Hampton Court Palace (where Henry VIII resided with several of his 6 wives), and snapping a photo at Platform 9 and 3/4 (I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter). I've also been reading a lot of British historical fiction to get excited for London (favorites include The Other Boleyn Girl and anything by Philippa Gregory). In terms of shopping, I'm particularly excited to visit the famous Harrod's and the Topshop flagship store.
What are your favorite London stores and places to shop for British fashion?
Recommendations for good restaurants and places to eat are also welcome and appreciated.
Thanks so much, and I look forward to updating you all again soon!
